The Wörthersee and Casino provided endless entertainment for our whole family. The crystal-clear waters of the lake offered a variety of water sports and activities, while the casino added a touch of excitement for the adults. We also explored the hiking and recreation areas of Carinthia, immersing ourselves in the beautiful nature and breathtaking views. The Rosegg Animal Park and Schiller Park were a hit with the kids, who loved getting up close and personal with various animal species. Velden's numerous events and attractions made our family getaway truly memorable.

For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated kids' play area onsite.

the hotel, Rocket Rooms Velden, had a fabulous restaurant where I could sit and watch the world go by. During my stay, there was a European Bike Week event, so the town and hotel were busy, but our group always found somewhere to eat and drink. the highlight for me was being able to sit on the balcony of my room and watch the bikes pass by the hotel. the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. the location was perfect for exploring the town and enjoying its nightlife. The hotel also offered underground parking, which was convenient. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved it!
